For this post, we'll stay on the California coast. This recording is of the ocean waves on the shores of Big Sur and the birds that inhabit the area.

BIG SUR is that portion of Northern California that is so spectacular, it attracts millions of tourists each year.
It is a 30-mile stretch that has been called "a garden spot on earth." People are drawn to Big Sur by the natural wonder of mountains meeting the sea and sky. The grandeur of the land and sea and the magnificence of the Pacific Ocean make this a must-see place to visit. (from the liner notes)
