Rob Randall - Musical Crystals

All of the music is performed on "musical crystals" (glass harmonica). No other instruments or vocals are used. This is actually a pleasant Xian album to listen to with all of the tracks being hymns played by minister Rob Randall. I'm not into this guy's beliefs, I'm mainly interested in the music on this cassette though he could be featured someday on my other blog.

The liner notes say:

Evangelist Rob Randall is a third generation evangelist. The Randall family has led in over 2,000 revivals and crusades over a span of 100 years. Rob, like his father and grandfather before him, is an accomplished musician. He plays several instruments during the revival crusades. The Musical Crystals have always been the favorite for many.

The Musical Crystals, sometimes referred to as the "Glass Harmonica", is an ancient Indo-European instrument. Its musical tones have been compared to a flute or violin. W. A. Mozart wrote "Minuet in G' for the Musical Crystals. Benjamin Franklin of American history fame also performed concerts on the Musical Crystals.
